Friendship Lodge restoring gravesites at the town’s
historic Pascack Reforned Church Cemetery.
Pictured from left are SW Luis Valls, Bro. Johnny

Kharkov, and DWA Bro.Carl Weil. Bro. Fred Wien and Luis Valls,
Jr. also participated in the restoration. Due to age and
weather, the graveyard had fallen into disrepair, and the
lodge members worked diligently to clean and reset 23 of the
headstones. The cemetery dates back to the early 1800s, and is
the final resting place of a number of notable figures from
the area, including several of the original members of the
lodge.
